مشاركة نادي العلوم في المنتدى العربي التاسع للمسؤولية الإجتماعية للشركات (دبي، -4 أكتوبر 2021)

شارك نائب رئيس نادي العلوم الدكتور فادي سامي كرم في المنتدى العربي التاسع للمسؤولية الإجتماعية للشركات والذي إنعقد في مدينة دبي في الإمارات العربية المتحدة (3-4 أكتوبر 2021) تحت عنوان "من 2020 إلى 2030 الإستدامة والصمود بعد الجائحة"، بتنظيم من الشبكة العربية للمسؤولية الإجتماعية للشركات. وألقى محاضرة حول معالجة التغير المناخي من خلال تعزيز النُظم الغذائية.

هدف المنتدى الى البحث في كيفية تعافي المجتمعات من الآثار الكارثية لجائحة كورونا، وطرح حلول تُمكن المؤسسات من الخروج من الضائقة الإجتماعية-الإقتصادية، وتتيح المجال امام جيل الشباب من الإنخراط في مجتمع إنتاجي مُستدام. وفيما يعملُ العالم جاهداً على وقف فيروس كورونا، ينبري صوت الباحثين والأكاديميين البيئيين الداعي الى ضرورة وقف استنزاف الموارد الطبيعية للأرض وتهديد الحياة البشرية وحياة سائر الكائنات الحيَة.

إن التعافي من جائحة كورونا لا يكون بالكلام فقط، بل بالعمل سوياً من أجل إعادة بناء مجتمعنا والنهوض به، حتى لا نقع في كارثة من نوع أخر، بيئية كانت أو غذائية أو مائية، والتي قد تكون أكثر شدةً. وتبقى ثقافة العمل الصوت المدوَي في ساحة مكافحة الشعوب للفساد والفاسدين من أجل #مجتمع متعافي وبيئة نظيفة#.

Club des Science participation in the 9^th Arab Forum for Corporate Social Responsibility (Dubai, October 4, 2021)

Vice President of the Club des Science (CDS), Dr. Fadi Sami Karam, participated in the 9^th Arab Forum for Corporate Social Responsibility, which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (3-4 October 2021) under the title "From 2020 to 2030 Sustainability and Resilience after the Pandemic", organized by the Arab Network for Responsibility Corporate social. He gave a lecture on tackling climate change through strengthening food systems.

The Forum aimed to explore how societies can recover from the catastrophic effects of the coronavirus pandemic, and to propose solutions that enable companies to emerge from socio-economic distress, and allow the younger generation to engage in a sustainable productive society. While the world is working hard to stop the coronavirus, the voice of environmental researchers and academics calls for the need to stop the depletion of the earth's natural resources threatening human life and the lives of other living creatures.

Recovering from the coronavirus pandemic is not only with words, but by working together to rebuild and advance our society, so that we do not fall into another kind of disaster, whether environmental, food or water, which may be more severe. The culture of labor remains the resounding voice in the arena of peoples' fight against corruption and the corrupt for #healthy society and clean environment#.
